Harmonic Filter System is designed to suit
industrial application for harmoni
c filtering. Harmonics are generated by non-linear
loads connected across the line. Harmonics cause
nuisance tripping of electronics devices and circuit
breakers, program corruption or malfunction of PLCs,
extensive heating of cables, busbars, transformer and
motors.
Amtech's filter is a harmonic trap
type. An engineering evaluation is recommended to
determine
specific conditions. Amtech's filters are tuned to
divert the unwanted frequency currents away from the
power source.
