AXPERT-MVD PROVIDES ULTIMATE FLEXIBILITY OF MOTOR VOLTAGE FOR
PUMPS, FANS AND SUBMERSIBLE OIL PIMPING


AXPERT-MVD has a filter. The filter suppresses high frequency components giving a very
close sinusoidal output waveform. The filter is a standardized granting the user the best
quality available on the market. The AXPERT-MVD can be used with a step-up and/or step-
down output transformer, to match any motor voltage.


THE AXPERT-MVD MEDIUM VOLTAGE FREQUNCY DRIVE CHARACTERISTICS ARE:

1 Ultimate flexibility in motor voltage. The customer can choose practically any motor voltage.
1 Reasonable cost. The transformer is not over dimensioned as in drives where no filter is used.
1 No extra stress on motor coil insulations. No bearing current due to filter and galvanic isolation
provided by the transformer.
1 Low motor noise. The voltage and current waveforms are very close to sinusoidal and therefore no
additional noise due to converter is produced.
1 Long cables allowed.
1 Can be installed in floating networks.
1 Advanced control methods.
1 Good efficiency of the system.


FURTHER CHARACTERISTICS FOR INDUSTRIAL PUMP AND FAN USE:

1 Inexpensive solution thanks to clever filter design and inexpensive standard output transformer.
1 Excellent for retrofit due to sinusoidal output voltage.
1 High starting torque.
1 Nominal cable length up to 300 meters.
1 With special transformer higher starting torque and kilometers long cables can be applied.


FURTHER CHARACTERISTICS FOR ELECTRICAL SUBMERSIBLE PUMP (ESP) USE:

1 Pump lifetime is maximized.
1 More than 100% starting torque by step-up transformer.
1 Cables several kilometers long may be used as there are no voltage reflections.
1 Long cable voltage drops needs to be compensated by output transformer secondary side.


NO MOTRO DERATING

1 A filter is provided to minimize harmonic current flow in the motor at near seeds and loads. Voltage
and current waveforms are near sinusoidal.
1 Sinusoidal voltage and current means the motor can be used to its full rated capacity. No thermal
de-rating is required with the AXPERT-MVD.
